Han Solo is coming into play now. He's only about 30% done...there's a decent amount of work to go and there's more to the drawing that can't be seen dealing with Mr. Ford.
He's way easier to draw than Luke that's for sure....I am debating whether to do full tonal on him of leave a decent amount of white on the skin.
I am not a huge fan of that super buttery pencil shaded photo realistic style art so I want this to still feel like a drawing and something for comics...so harder shapes and more graphic stylings have to stay in this for me to really like it.
I did darken this scan a little to show a little more or the shading. Like I mentioned in another post. This is all 'H' lead and nothing more so it's fairly light in person.
Damn, Rich! Your art has improved a hell of a lot in the short time I've been watchin' you. Love your Chewie. And the Fett rocks! As for Solo, I would leave the white areas. You're right about keeping it graphic and stylish....

You can't have everything, where would you put it?
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
